Thanks everyone! Dh got a pile of boxes from the L.C.B.O. today. We're going to have a Garage Sale on June 18. Still trying to decide which furniture goes where in the new house. We don't want to pay to move things we won't use.
I took advantage of senior's day at Value Village -30% off this evening. Found some beautiful lined silk drapes to cover one of the patio doors $19.98-30%= approximately $14.00.

We have many more windows in our new place than in this one.

congrats on the quick sale! i know how stressful moving is. we did it 4 yrs ago. what a nitemare, but soooo glad we did it. Have fun decorating.

Scouponer- we're very close to University hospital. Thanks for your offer!

Turfed a lot of make-up, etc. that I has had sitting in a drawer for years.

Packed linen- had to decide -- what colour will the guest bedroom be, exactly?

Towels- we will now have 3 bathrooms- seems so extravagant- Everything is beige-on-beige for now- so we'll have enough towels in various colours.

Such huge decisions to be made- first world problems.

I am taking a little rest at the moment.

I am beginning to realize the connections I will be leaving behind. My church family. My birth family's old friends. Some of my relatives. My parents' resting place. I am very excited, but any move is bitter-sweet.
