ExpiredFull details of the possible mail disruption are on the blog.
Letters sent to major businesses say that all letter mail should be accepted by Canada Post before the final pickup on June 23rd for delivery before the potential strike or lockout on July 2nd.
While we will not stop trading on this date, you are trading at your own risk and can not leave a negative if the trade takes longer and gets stuck in the mail system should there be a disruption. They may well come to an agreement, although it doesn't look likely right now.
Most traders will be aware that CP does not always deliver in their delivery standard dates so you may want to cut off trading even earlier than the 23rd. If you are trading this week, please ensure that you mail within 24 hours of agreeing to a trade to ensure it gets there.
Should the work stoppage occur, this thread will be used to list all trades stuck in the postal system. If they are not delivered within a week or so of the return of mail, they will be considered not sent and negatives can be left to ensure people do not abuse the work stoppage to not send their end of a trade. This thread is currently associated with: Canada PostLast edited by FallenPixels; Sat, Jun 18th, 2016 at 12:51 PM.

Thank you I was just discussing this very subject in the frugal chatter thread saying this would be the last week I would be trading until the strike situation is resolved.
Let's hope they come to a resolution before their strike deadline.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

I'm rural and the mail delivery from rural to big cities (lol) has been taking crazy amounts of time. It took 9 days to mail from where I am 1 a city 1 hiour away. 9 Days to reach Montreal , craziness.
Has anyone else noticed that the mail delivery has been much slower than normal?2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!
