    potatoes and vegies on BBQ

    You will need:
aluminum pie plate or any other aluminum thingy (more if needed)

    potatoes cut into small pièces
    carrots cut into small pièces
    turnips cut into small pièces
    chopped onion (optional)
    salt
    pepper
    garlic powder

place vegies in a bowl and season to taste. Then you empty onto aluminum pie plates and put 3 tsps of butter on top of vegies. Cover top with aluminum foil to keep in the heat. Bake on top warmer on low heat for approximately 45 minutes. Make sure bottom doesnt burn. This is a fantastic dish.

Just found a rhubarb and pink peppercorn compote recipe that can go with fish, pork, chicken (stovetop recipe):
    http://looklocalmagazine.com/barrie/...ubarb-compote/

From July 23, 2018 issue of First for Women-15min dinners:
Pesto Bow Ties with Chicken Skewers Serves 8
    Active time 10 min
    Total time 15 min

2 lbs. chicken breasts, cut into 1" strips
    3 tbsp. olive oil, divided
    1 (16 oz) box bow-tie pasta
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 zucchini, cut into 1/2" rounds
    1 pint cherry tomatoes
    3/4 cup basil pesto

    1) Heat grill to medium. Rub chicken with 2 tbsp. olive oil, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Thread onto skewers (photo shows wooden ones but usually they have to be soaked in water for 30min before use). Grill 10 min. turning once.

    2) Cook pasta as box directs; drain. In pan over medium heat, cook zucchini in 1 tbsp oil 8 min. Add tomatoes, cook 4 min. more. In bow, toss pasta and veggies with pesto. Serve with chicken skewers.

Try BBQ'd perogies, they are awesome. (See picture ^^)

For a twist I grill PC BLACK LABEL CAPPELLACCI BEET & GOAT CHEESE FILLED EGG PASTA

I just place the pasta or perogies in a large freezer bag douse with olive oil and dried minced onion.
Grill for a few minutes each side. They puff up like pastries when they are done.

For perogies I defrost them, but they still take a bit longer and I usually add some other herbs or spices (cumin, paprika, chili powder or even curry).
I have even tried dessert ones with sugar and cinnamon.

If you have a lot of chicken thighs and time to marinate chicken for 2 hours or overnight, here's your next meal mission!
