    So I wanted to use my free Friday coupon. Good snacks for my munchkins!!

    So I headed to Walmart

    nice brag @samm07 ! Question: I may have asked this before but are Nature Valley granola bars taxable?? I am getting more and more ticked off at products that seem to be in the " food-ish " category ( ha ha ) but are taxable.

    No idea. I paid ~$3 in tax... So I'm not sure where that came from. I must have paid taxes on almost everything...? I'm with you, I have no idea what my end totals will be anymore because I have no idea what constitutes taxable and not lol

    ty samm07....When I buy my guys the odd container of potato or macaroni salad at NF I realized a while back that I pay tax on those too!! Oh well......

    Depending on the store they have a code beside the total denoting get only no tax or hst. Walmart has a J for hst; a H for no tax. Can't remember what they use for gst only

    At Walmart its J/A for tax, D/H for no tax and Z/Y for gst only, and the a,h,y indicate a clearance price
