great August jobs for students, even those who are taking summer courses since the courses should be over by then
great for parents and guardians without a job to get some extra $$ for their children before back to school

Students were hired to work on Toronto Island (Centerville etc). With the rains and flooding this spring/summer, the students did not start their jobs on time. Maybe they can work at the CNE instead.

I noticed that Toronto will have a job fair for PT parks and rec youth jobs in August for fall. Every bit helps. I feel sorry for the students who were relying on Centreville work for income. In the age of cellphones and Internet, hope most of the affected youth have been able to find alternate jobs for now.
