so sorry to hear about Crochetlady she will be missed
@Granger and @Sweets parrow how lovely to have met a sc member.

    ______________

Sorry I've been MIAing I will catch up on the last 3 pages, dh, FIL & eldest were gone for a week so I kept busy.

Dh was offered 3 long term contracts, he accepted the 1 that didn't need an interview as he had an excellent reference and they wanted a male EA. It's not full time or 40 hours a week but it's a (.75 aka a 3/4 day) which works well for his an his medical (back problems). He will be attending a staff meeting on Thursday which is not paid but it will give him an opportunity to meet the principal and his co-workers. All his pays will be allocated to 2 accounts and we won't be dipping into those accounts if it can be helped. So let's just say my house should be getting lots of work done on it.....OF COURSE I'm weary of hiring someone but this time I will ask for tons of reference and sign a contract so if anything goes array I have something to fall back on.

    Wishing everyone a great weekend.

@momof5boys I'm so sorry to hear about your husband, sending prayers for him.

Could your mom be moved to a government subsidized facility for care if she qualifies? I don't think it's right that your sibling(s) put all the stress on your shoulders.

Take care of yourself and each other, life is a gift & precious AND so often life gets in the way (work, bills, etc)

We spent most of the day vehicle shopping in town. That van that we were interested in was not what they had advertised. It is the most basic one available, which means that it is overpriced and not the best option for the 3 car seats. We have found a different van at another dealership, basically what this one was supposed to be, plus some extras. 2013, but decent mileage on it. Significantly less than what the other place is asking for the basic 2015. The dealership just got the 2013 van on trade-in, do they need a few days with the vehicle before we can check it out and discuss details. We shall see. This sales guy is happy to meet with us outside of regular office hours, which is a nice option to have.

Today was semi lazy. Went in circles this morning. Fixed a computer this afternoon and made supper.

My crafty box ....I stained it today. ...to dark so reburnt parts. Now i will line it with a cream satin i got at the thrift store.

I have about 8 more i cando and sell as well.

I went to the warf today and got fresh peas n beans 5 dollars a bag. And a piece of pie. I went to the thrift store and found two satin shirts 1 cream 1 pink for lining my boxes. I have bright blue and navy fabric in my craft room.

Gave a friend a few tops i was getting rid of.

Did chicken breast and rice for supper
