so true! The only time I like to take advantage of these offers is IF I can find something non taxable ( as in real food ) and then just buy the $10.00 required to spend/redeem the 95 AM for. Sadly all I saw that was sort of an " o.k. " deal was the Unico tomato paste cans on 2/$1.00, but I certainly would not want to buy 20 of them.....ha ha

Buy some milk - 4 L bags they are $ 4.25 same price every where.

The only person drinking milk here is 1 son and it takes forever to get through one of the bags, but great suggestion for families wanting to earn that 25 Bonus AM.

The 25 air mile bonus does not show up right away. I called them and they said it will show up after the end of the promotion which is the end of Sunday the 21st so check on Monday the 22nd. I haven't done this in awhile so those who do this more often may know this. Also the fine print says limit of one air mile bonus offer per collector number per day. Since this is over 4 days, you can do this a max of 4 times the way I understand it. They have the broccoli , I can't believe its not butter and the knorr sidekicks all on for 99 cents each. That might help you get to the 95 air mile redemption level.

I heard some are being converted to Food Basics. In the longer run it might be a good thing for you, if your closed store becomes a FB, you will have a cheaper store than Metro and pretty much the same products, but lower prices.

you just reminded me about something regarding Food Basics and AM. I know FB is not really an AM sponsor, BUT when I pay for my purchases using my Amex AM card I earn 1 AM for every $15.00 spent. These AM show up on my Amex statement NOT anywhere on the FB receipt. Just another way to earn a few AM's in case anyone uses an Amex AM card.

I did this on the 21st and the 25AM still hasn't shown up in my account.
