    Well my DD is engaged to be married! It came as quite a surprise but then i guess it was to be expected.

    This is about making wrong choices and second chances in life. About 18 years ago, DD was seeing 2 fellows and had to make a decision about which one to choose. She chose one, settled down, they bought a farm, had horses, had 2 children, etc. Things turned sour quickly and there was a lot of emotional abuse. DD finally packed up and left after considerable harassement from hubby and in-laws. She had to get a restraining order.

    Anyway, that was 2 and a half years ago. In early 2016, the other fellow looked her up on Facebook and they reconnected and are now planning to get married in Aug of 2017. Seems like he was waiting for her. After all this time. You hear of stuff like that on tv about couples reuniting after years apart. I guess this is where second chances come in. We wish her lots of happiness after the hard times she had.
