From the article: "The case must be certified in court before it can proceed."
The question is can the case be certified before the end of the year, since reward miles start expiring as of Jan 1, 2017? I know these things usually take time and may need to go through multiple levels of courts. Also, if it is certified, does that mean AM has to suspend the expiration of reward miles until there's a ruling or a settlement? Stayed tuned, I guess.
Happy about this. I hope AM is in for a bumpy ride
