I'm up to 5 max redemptions I can do so far for 2016....they are burning a hole in my pocket haha - but I'd love to get $200 instead of $170 per redemption - that's an extra $150!

But what are you going to spend $1000 on in one shot?! May as well do a redemption here and there for $170 when there are good sales on stuff you need

But we are all seriously hoping for a bonus redemption! I also have 5 redemptions saved up. :D

I just redeemed twice for $170 each last week, but it was on Senior's Day, so actually a slightly better deal than a bonus redemption for what I needed. I still have 6 full redemptions to go (did 2 back in the spring, too. Total of 10 this year!) Can't wait for bonus redemption day! I can usually do all my Christmas shopping in one shot!

I usually keep my points for a bonus redemption too but I have been spending a bit here and there this year. It seems to me that it makes more sense getting $170 off your bill when the sales and bonus points align on product you will use. When I have over $1000 to use in two days I find I end up buying things I don't really need and that I am buying just to use up the points. That being said I would love a bonus redemption too ...... I keep dreaming of the $250 one a few years back.

Right now I have enough for 4 redemptions. I recently did a bonus redemption from beauty boutique and about a month ago did a reg redemption. I have also done about 3 other redemptions throughout the winter/spring. I find with the lack of bonus redemptions, i've been redeeming when their are sales.

I am waiting for a bonus redemption too. Have 2 top level. I have done a mega redemption at murale for 134000 for $300, last months beauty online bonus, and one regular in july. They had a great sale price on the Nintendo 3ds for my sons Christmas gift 179.99 for 2 days only. It was the lowest it has ever been. I had to call over 12 stores to find one in stock. I love getting xmas shopping done in july!

I can't remember the last time a bonus redemption happened. Since Loblaws has bought SDM, I've seen a lot of opportunities for earning points, but not so many for redeeming. I'd be afraid if they actually did have a bonus redemption, there would be so many people waiting for it to happen that there will be a big line up, or, there will be a lot of people overpaying for random items just to get up to the magic number. I think I would fall into that trap anyways.

I usually do at least 1 redemption during the toy/electronic sale that usually happens a week before the bonus. Sometimes sales are better than the extra 30$

So my manager has told me the next redemption will be in November. As soon as I know I will let you know. I have 7 redemptions but using one this weekend. Not as good as my million points last year but I will take it....

....as for those wondering how to spend that much in one day...very easy! Stock up stock up! I have taken 2 1/2 hours to cash out and filled both mine and parents truck beds. I get lots of canned goods, cleaning products, toilet paper, and teachers/EA gifts.

just a silly question.. and some of the more experienced shoppers might be able to answer it for me..

SDM doesn't price match and the deals on mega redemption day are sometimes not as good as some other weeks; isn't one paying more for items that can be bought for less just to reach that 95,000 point mark? and with limit of 4 on most items; anything over is more expensive..

No questions are silly.....I look at it this way...for instance the laptop I wanted this weekend. It's on sale $40 cheaper than normal. So it was better for me to redeem this weekend because most mega redemptions are only $200...so saved $10. For smaller items...sometimes but I try not to. I buy what I need on sale and stock up big time...so if there is a limit of 4 for instance....I will buy 4 on my card, 4 on my husbands, then 4 on my sons. Then after I will transfer the points if need be to make up the difference. Hope that helps

There are a few items I want that don't go on sale (cologne sampler) so I am waiting for an extra redemption to pick them up and add a few sale items. Other then that the next fantastic sale flyer I will redeem since I have enough for 3+ and I don't want to be trying to redeem last minute if they change the program.
