Yeah, calcium is great for your bones, which I didn't have a lot when I was a kid, being allergic to milk... probably one of the BIGGEST reasons I don't eat cereal today... when I was a youngster, I used to have orange or apple juice on my cereal... Could be also all the drugs I am on because of the car accident years ago... but they want me to go for a bone density test...

Went to arrange Physio today, my first being this Friday @ 8:30am. Have to find a shoe that will fit my swollen foot.. and is the same height of my running shoe... But here we go kids...

You'll be surprised at how little time it takes to make progress, iykwim.
Are you on crutches or with a cane?
When you were in Walmart, did you use one of their handy-dandy motorized scooters? I've used them a couple of times...fun to drive, but I didn't like the feeling of having to use it. I never liked not feeling "normal" out there; at least my pretty cane eventually felt a little better if I had to use anything at all....
Keep up the exercises they'll teach you to do and as much as possible, keep that leg elevated; but I guess you've been told all that before..
I read that you're a fan of Tumeric...I received my first order today, cucumin with bioperine, which is supposed to greatly increase its absorption. Fingers crossed it can help with pain.

Tomorrow is physio day... Got the other running shoe on, it feels so weird... Haven't worn a shoe on that food for 12 weeks now.... Got the original report from my first night up in the towns little hospital which I don't believe I was treated right, especially after they found out I was a Chronic Pain Patient. Had to pay $30 for it. But now I can start writing my letter, and either they do something with the people who treated me, or you are going to see my story on the news...

Well, in a few hours I will be back @ physio... Little nervous, but I know they are fantastic there, they did a great job on my shoulder couple years ago... I'll let you all know how it goes...

Well, we've been and we are back. Knee and foot are a little sore. Usually, I take the wheelchair everywhere I go, But decided to use the crutches so I could walk in slowly... Learned about a bunch of new exercises, go back next Tuesday & Friday @ 8:00am

I bet your bone density is fine. Drinking milk is one of those odd things... yes, it contains calcium, but it also makes your body acidic. In order to help fix that it leaches calcium from your bones. In areas like Asia where dairy is not regularly consumed the ostio rate is incredibly low. I eat dairy once a month on a cheat day... then there will be cheese and bacon and it will be frightening... good thing cheat day is on halloween! The rest of the time I eat a extremely low fat vegetarian diet. There are decades long research to back up what I am saying about milk... I am not say never eat/ drink it... to each their own, but if you are interested or concerned check out the book called The China Study. (Almost all the studies here that say dairy is good for you are backed by the dairy industry, funny how that works!)
