Spain's 2008 Olympic poster promoting their basketball team. All the players depicted in said poster is pulling the skin of their eyes back to slant their eyes.
Does anyone find this racist or offensive?

I do think it's uncalled for that's for sure. I wonder what they were thinking.....

K what! As an asian, I usually dont take jokes too seriously cause there are so many out there to be taking them seriously. But this is just plain ignorant and very offensive.

This poster really bugs me. Its just wrong and insulting They have been posting it only in their own country, but the press picked it up, and exposed it.

I think it was uncalled for and the PR obviously wasnt thinking on this one.
Its sad enough that tons of Chinese women each year have eye surgery to have the crease of other ethnic backgrounds, which is ridiculous to me, these days everyone is almost 'made' to feel bad about there bodies unless were so un'ideal image.
I can't believe this got all the way to be printed, like wow PR deserves a kick in the hiney.

I agree that it is ignorant, childish and stupid and if the team was 8 yrs old it I WOULD NOT think it was racist BUT judging the fact that they are old enough to know better I would have to say in my opinion it was racial
