Hi,
I posted quiet a few items on Kijiji crystal platters, crystal wine glasses, holy mugs, which I thought were priced ok since most of the items are new. But I have a lot of views but not many responses. Can you take a look give me feedback on if it is a price issue, picture issue or something else. Thanks

I check your prices and I don't think their outrageous.. you can't give it way .. if people knows ..what it cost buy things new .. then they should pay what your asking .
maybe if you really wants get your things sold after week or so .. could you ask make you offer on your items .. just might sell it that way .. just suggestion.. take care hope you sells it all

Everyone I know has given up on Kijiji, and have gone the Facebook way @Anna Michele has suggested, and have had much better luck....

Agreed, Kijiji has really faded in popularity and use, especially with the emergence of Mobile Apps like LetGo.
Remember that it's a balancing act. As a seller, you want to make some money (if possible) and mitigate your losses; as a buyer you're looking for a deal, and to not spend retail price for second hand goods.
You need to find a happy medium in pricing to satisfy both parties for sales to happen.Last edited by danger_dan; Mon, Nov 28th, 2016 at 08:20 AM.

I was in TO not that long ago, and went shopping at the VVillage and other thrift stores. Upon looking at your prices and what you would pay in thrift stores, you are a little on the pricey side for your items. However, you don't want to give away your stuff either.
Hope this gives you an helpful opinion.

You got some good advice My suggestion would be to include what the actual retail cost would be.

Can someone tell me how to find my local FB page if I want to sell stuff? I'm not exactly FB-literate I did a Google search for <sell stuff on facebook locally> and ended up on a UK FB page, then on a <FB buy and sell groups> page but didn't see anything local.
Thanks!
ETA: Ok, I think I found a marketplace for my city. But there are less than 300 members - i live in a big city- does that sound right? And not a lot of traffic. Some guy trying to sell rolls of pennies and a car...! lol

Thanks everyone for your replies and I will check out facebook.
For those that are saying my prices are overpriced, can you give me some feedback as to the item and price it should be or what you would pay for said item. Most items are brand new in box and below retail price.
@maggiespice I have not been to many thrift stores so I am not too aware of what they sell in terms of housewares, can you give me some examples of what is comparable to what I am selling and the price?
