Shock doesn't even cover it here, Dear Darth, I am so very for what you and your children are facing. It breaks my heart to think of tour family starting the new year this way. Everyone certainly does grieve in their own way, you are more than likely still in shock ( which would explain why you had no tears yet ) , but they will come when they need to.

Oh Darth, I am so so very sorry to hear about your DH. You do what you need to do to get through the next while. You post if you need to rant, cry or whatever. You don't post if you can't deal with it. Take care of the kidlets BUT you let people take care of you too. We are here for our favorite penguin.

Darth, our dear Penguin, it's definitely going to be a terrible - and terrifying - time for you.
What comes for you emotionally - or not - comes - that's for you to feel, to deal with; don't worry about what happens when.

You must be stunned, that's the shock - I know you will first want to protect your babies and put them ahead of yourself, but you must think of yourself as well - after all, you have lost the love of your life.
