    My guess would be there is a lot of cats out there eating for free

    I imagine they want to see how many customers they gain from the freebies but most of us don't need to buy more yet & don't buy bigger bags (the small ones go on sale more often and it's cheaper to buy 2 of those than the bigger one) so not sure if it's the best way but...
    Even giving some away & feeding a feral we have 3 bags left plus whatever is mixed into their regular food so won't be doing this one
