With various winter weather across the country over the last week, which do you prefer
Bone Chilling Cold
A Big Snowfall
Wind and Rain but warmer temps
I know some of you lucky people are retired or do not work, so think a day when you have to leave the house

We had a saying in our group of friends we'd shout out team building events when I was in my teens: "Fire in your hearts, Ice in your veins!"
...and as a born and bred Canadian through and through, I do indeed have ice in my veins...I guess that's why I bleed Toronto Blue and White...
I LOVE WINTER, all of it!...the ice, the snow, the cold, the windchill...LOVE IT!

I work indoors, and don't spend too much time outdoors in the winter unless we go quading/ice fishing. I guess I prefer the bone-chill cold as long as there is not too much wind. I hate tracking lots of snow in the house, and the melt-freeze-melt-freeze that leaves a ton of ice on the roads. DH gave me a heated jacket with a battery pack to handle the cold.

Prefer LOTS of snow! We don't have much this year.
Mind you, on a day like today which began with a -47 windchill (too cold even for me) - there is something to be said for the beautiful blue sky and amazing sun that come with the bone-chilling cold.
We don't get rain in winter... that's just weird.

Rain. Rain. Rain. Growing up in BC, that's all I knew. Been in Ontario for 16 years now and can't get used to the cold and the snow. I hate it! And the older I get the harder it is for me to warm up in the winter. That's why I love the humidity in the summer. Summer is when I finally get a chance to defrost.
