Your best bet is probably Statistics Canada - they have a historical collection, but I'm sure it'll take a lot of time to wade through and search.
Good luck!

^ We collected those (I was born in '61) - sure wish we would have kept them, they are worth money now!
Kitty, another thing I thought of - whether it's doable or not depends upon where you live. Look up newspaper archives - they would be a treasure trove of info.

When I saw the images of the coins, I thought "Montreal hosted the World's Expo!" Canada turned 100.

For 1967 facts from the papers, do you have a newspaper microfilm section at the main branch of your library system?
Grocery ads from the time are certain to be shown on the pages.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Ironically enough the Atlantic Superstore in my area had their WONDER white and whole wheat bread in the middle of the store for $1.00 (not even a sale price).....and most had a 50% off sticker, so each loaf was $0.50.....even the cashier said "$0.50 for a loaf a bread. Damn that's a really good deal. Where'd you find that?"
