Yay for Popcorn Day!
I love popcorn - I used to eat TONS of it, but have really cut down over the past year.
None of that nuked stuff (unless I'm desperate!) - my fave is done in a good ole pot, but that's maybe only once a year.
Otherwise, air popped with margarine usually - butter if we have it, but we don't usually.
I like the original Popcorn song, love the Swedish chef - make sure you turn on the captions for this:

I love popcorn! Must be buttery and salty
We don't need to be rich, don't need to be famous just to have a good time!

Oddly enough, I had some popcorn today when I came home from work. It's Costco's store branded microwave popcorn. I spritz it with mist of water then put on seasonings. Today was White Cheddar. And I have dill pickle, salt & vinegar and ketchup, as well.

My wife loves popcorn and I have been looking into a stand up popcorn machine (I bought the one from Walmart and took it back) but they are pretty pricy. If anyone knows of a place that sells them please let me know.
FYI Allrecipes.com has a great recipe for caramel corn that we think it really good and make it quite often

We just got a little hot air popper for the kids for Christmas and have been eating "better" popcorn. I know the microwave stuff tastes so good but it's so bad for you. We melt a little butter, salt it up and that's it Yeah, upon further thought, my "better" popcorn ain't so good

We love stove top popcorn. DH eats has it for a snack almost every night. I prefer the salt & vinegar popcorn seasoning.

I like mine with salt, no butter (I love butter but it makes the popcorn soggy!), preferably organic, and all to myself I eat my popcorn one kernel at a time while a lot of people I know will stuff a handful in their month and are ready to grab more before they've even swallowed what's in their mouth. So I get short-changed when sharing popcorn! lol
Cheddar-flavored is good too occasionally, and I do like SDM's sweet n' salty popcorn but haven't bought it in a long time because of the high sugar content.
I haven't found a way to get salt to stick to air-popped popcorn yet - if anyone has suggestions, please let me know

DD has been buying caramel corn at school and bringing it home, so good! Especially the ones that are completely golden from the candy lol
