Boy, do you ever have to shop around!!

We're in the market for a new coffee table, so I was going through sites online and not that we wanted this one (since it's not a coffee table), but I saw it twice, each on a different site, so I went back to price the first one...

It's this 1/2 circle wall unit:

They know you don't have time so if they can't get it from you they will get it from the next guy! Air miles will be one lure. But you are so right, you have to shop around.

I've pretty much given up, Walks. There's nothing new in the world of coffee tables, still either look like 50's tables or are uber modern tacky ones. I do like the few I've seen that have the tops lift up like a serving area...at least it would keep our charcuterie trays away from "someone's" curious nose ... :-D

One advantage of the three stores is they have websites and you likely can find out if local stores have stock. Seeing an item in store lighting is a different experience than viewing online. Good point made about the pricing-which store would you trust your delivery with if the item had to be ordered?

Do The Brick, Leon's or Bad Boy carry the table? The stores are known for their weekend deals. Another SCer mentioned that Bad Boy will open in Ancaster Meadowlands-the last unit in the former Target building that houses the 3 TJX company stores.

Thank God for the internet as we can shop around. Before we did not have much choice but know we do and thank you for sharing Lynn................................:-)

You definitely need to shop around, I`m redecorating my bedroom and was trying to find crystal knobs for my cabinet drawers

Rona - $2.50 a piece.

Ebay - Pack of 12 for $7 (Have yet to arrive but will see how the quality is, they look similar to the ones purchased at Rona)
