I went to the Chiropractor twice in January, first time in years. I got an adjustment on Tuesday, my migraine on Wednesday was three times worse. I had a more gentle massage on Friday of that week. My dad suggested getting a massage before getting adjust by the chiropractor in order to help the adjustment. I get a massage when Dh is home, but that means the chiropractor's office is closed. I might try to arrange a chiropractor appointment for the day after a massage.

Dh's coverage is somewhat unusual. I have 75% coverage for both massage and chiropractor. Chiropractor has a max of $250/yr per person. Massage coverage requires a doctor's note (already in my purse, 75% reimbursement to a max of $75/visit, max of 20 visits per year/person. So in actuality I have better massage coverage than I do mchiropractor.

Happily stocked up on some groceries today- $4 at SDM( after redemption) and $20 at No Frills. Also got the utility bill-the company had a sale this month and gave all new and existing customers 1/2 price gas and electricty-no complaints here. DD has gone out for dinner and homework at her friends and DH and I will celebrate our anniversary with a quiet dinner at home. Tomorrow we will have company in the morning and again for dinner so a busy, social weekend.

Happy Anniversary! Very close to Valentine's! What colour did your attendants wear at your wedding?

@JadeAngel : I think any mom would appreciate such a kind gesture. Both my girls wore boys' clothes for the entire first year and made many baseball and truck outfits look cute. I just really appreciated the time I didn't have to be out shopping for clothes as well as groceries. Both pregnancies were very difficult in terms of getting out of the house and frequency of doctor visits for me. Doubly difficult being a one-car family!

My daughter wore boys' socks all throughout daycare as well. The bottom of her socks came back extremely dirty and I would have to hand scrub before each wash. I couldn't imagine sending her in with white or light pink socks!

I am super grateful to the moms of the two boys who donated them to us!

Avon-hehe-we did not have attendants at our wedding. We had an impromptu wedding( after 25 years together!) in our living room in front of our fireplace with a couple that are our very good friends as witnesses( they wore their dress clothes as we only gave them a few days notice), our 6 year old in a long yellow dress with little red roses as our flower girl and the minister. About 25 friends and family came over for dinner and we ordered in Chinese food and had Tiramasu for dessert. It was simple and great-this is what happens when you decide 6 days prior that you will get married-lol.

Morning! We got home very late from the casino. We saw "the music of ABBA" a group from Sweden. They were really good. And mama came home a big winner ☺. Guess I better get up. Lots to do today.

    Afternoon everyone,

The forecast for today is 25 cms of snow. We already rec'd about 10cms already. They are forecasting another 15cms for tomorrow.

So I'm predicting it's a snow day tomorrow....which means a snowday which means another baking day with the boys....unfortunately we are out of butter. Dh will be picking up butter this week from metro.

I have a pork roast out for supper which I better get in the oven right this moment.

    Have a great afternoon everyone.

J and C-many cakes etc use veg oil as opposed to butter so hopefuly you can come up with something for your bakers! Speaking of which I should get baking and prepping as we have company for dinner.

QOTD-is it just me or is everyone getting inundated with survey requests? I seem to get a lot these days and most of the time I do not bother to fill them out.
Do you mean surveys by phone or requests through e-mail from stores your shop at or programs you belong to? I reply to surveys by programs or malls depending on two things-is there a gift card draw at the end of it and do I use the service or buy the good being asked about?
