    If you've applied them to amazon.ca, that's where you're buying from. Unless you have other things you want to buy from amazon.ca, you're stuck buying from them. You can't use an amazon.ca certificate on amazon.com.

    Might not be as big a ripoff as it looks when you consider shipping. My brother used to buy us amazon.com certificates for gifts. I'd get all the way to the checkout before they'd tell me they don't ship my item to Canada or charge me nearly the value of the item in shipping
