Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Scholarship in Rehabilitation-Related Research for Graduate Students with Disabilities provides $20,000 along with a supplement for educational expenses relating to the student's disability. Fields of study must relate to rehabilitation but are not limited to any particular discipline (e.g. Engineering, Social Work, Chemistry, Architecture, Public Administration, Early Childhood Education, Biology, Medicine, etc.) Applications are encouraged from international students. The scholarships are renewable for an additional year based on satisfactory performance, potentially longer for PhD candidates. The scholarships are tenable at six Canadian universities: McMaster University, Ryerson University, University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, Wilfred Laurier University and York University.
