Due to health problems I cant eat regular flour and can eat almond flour. Ive looked everywhere from health food stores to bulk barns. But have yet found it. Can anyone tell me where I could find it in Ontario.

Almond flour? Never heard of it.I will keep a lookout next shopping trip
This probably doesn't help too much, but I googled where to buy almond flour in Canada and a link for Amazon.com came up. I would never have thought of them for this kind of product.

Bob's Red Mill is a popular brand, but they don't go on sale often. I think they do online purchases on their main website for Canada, and I think I was going to order some when they had some sort of sale...
My friend is saying that you can buy this at the Bulk Barn.
Why don't you buy almonds and fine ground them to a powder like flour.... that's essentially what is is :)-- at least that's what I do and it's a hell of a lot cheaper :)
Could never thought of that. I need gluten free also.
Here's a FYI for you if you decide to make your own almond flour.
Use your food processor to chop finely your almonds. Don't forget to freeze almonds or any nuts before chopping, otherwise they turn to butter. you don't need to roast the almonds
Try Noah's in the GTA. If they don't have it, then any "good" health food store will order it. Unfortunatley, I don't consider the Bulk Barn a good health food store.
I am not sure this help or if u are able to eat it as well ...I got this link in a email this morning and thought of u! Hope it helps ... http://www.nuicoconut.com/australia/...food_range.htm ... and I LOVE the make your own suggestion lol...sure is one of them *slap ur head* V8 moment :D

The only 2 places that I can think of that would carry such products are Whole Foods and The Specialty Food Shop!
My sister is allergic to a lot of things so she buys her stuff from The Specialty Food Shop. They have a lot of Gluten Free Products! Also, if you dont have one near you, they mail their items as well.
Here is the link for you: https://www.sickkids.on.ca/sfs/
Can u use rice flour? Its gluten-free, and I found boxes of it for 1.68 at Wal-Mart. They aren't really big, but for that price you can get quite a lot. I haven't found any almond flour, but I think you can get potato flour at the Bulk Barn as well. I will keep my eye out for almond flour from now on though...
Here's a Canadian source www.jkgourmet.com. If you live in the GTA, you can order online and pick up your order rather than have it shipped.
