    Imperial Buffet.....3 locations see link below offer free buffet for birthday person . Must be accompanied by 2 paying guests/ id required. The food is great and personally I think it's comparable to Mandarin ( too bad there 's not more locations)

    When I lived in Vancouver De-Dutch Pannekoek House sent a complimentary meal certificate for birthdays, if you are part of De-Dutch club.

    It cost $5 up front to join, and you got a gift certificate for $10, plus some kind of regular discount, plus the birthday meal. It was a great deal.
