Thank you, Lola...That must be such fun if you live close to the border...we're heading to NY in a couple of weeks, with a stop-off in Syracuse on the way home, omg...if I had planned this better I may have done that...other than that perhaps we'll drop into one on our way thu the States...thanks, Hon!

I have a list of stuff that I bring back from the States for friends and family. Some stuff is seasonal.

*Pineapple jello (used to be able to find it up here, but haven't been successful over the past few years). The summer flavours they have are AMAZING (even better with a little vodka )
*pumpkin spice Hershey Kisses in fall time (peppermint twist ones in winter)
*various BBQ sauces - lately it has been Margaritaville that has been on sale
*Red Velvet Cake mixes - I have recently seen them up here at WM, however at $3.27 a box that's crazy!!! I pay $1.25 tops (even without a sale) when I stock up
*WW meals/desserts - much better selection there
    *Rotel tomatoes
    *International Delight creamers
    *Cherry Pepsi
    *yogurt
*cream cheese (not because of the different flavours, but because its always so much cheaper there!)

I think that's it. This thread is making me antsy for my next trip down to the States

Wow, bmps, you've given me some great ideas! I also looked for ohhhh, what was it....some kind of pudding mix...oh! "cream cheese" pudding mix, I think it was, for a recipe and never found it here...maybe there!? Pineapple jello! On my list now! And those kisses...and what is so great about Rotel tomatoes? I see so many US recipes calling for that...don't we have that in our seasoned canned tomatoes?
I should do more cooking when we visit there.
    Scratch that.

Even in Canada when there are several varieties of product we don't get them all that new Softsoap foaming handwash Walmart only stocks raspberry when there are three kinds and new Excel cough drops Shoppers Drug Mart only stocks two kinds when there are three.

I'm very fortunate that I live in a border town and am able to cross over to the states whenever I need to. I get my gas on the Indian Reservation (saving at least $15 per fillup), and get groceries at Walmart and Wegmans. Milk for $1.89/gallon (that's 3.89L), boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.99/lb, eggs for $1.39/doz, cheese $3.89/484g, cat food (Iams ProActive original adult food) $12.49/6.8 lbs. Those are the major items but can include so many others. I still do buy food here in Canada as I do coupon and price match but I've found being able to shop OTR (Over The River) makes for huge savings in my budget!!

Some good news I went to a candy store today that recently moved locations and changed name and found they had Nestle 100 grand bars.I of course bought one.
