Story: The way he was sitting and the way he was posing reminded me of the Dark Knight movie picture. Ever since i posted that picture on facebook, my friends starting making jokes about it saying he's waiting for the "Bat Dog" signal to arrive so he can run out and go defeat some bad guys.

Relationship to image: First vet visit


Story: My bf gave me my kitten for my birthday and she was sick.. I could tell something wasn't right with her. The guy we got her from was a co-worker of my boyfriend's.. and he did nothing for her while he had her because he didn't want to pay the vet bill.


She had goops in her eyes and kept sneezing... We found out at the vet emergency, (yes I brought her right away ) that she has Kitty Herpes and will have it for life. (Not the same as people herpers - more like our common cold)

She was such a trooper at the vets (from the temperature taking (ouch!), to the medicine in her mouth and her eyes, etc...) but it must have tuckered her right out because as you can see, she just fell asleep on the edge of the couch in my bf's arms as soon as we got home... of course we gave her a few treats too


She sure loves to cuddle now so we like to think we "bonded" with her that night


P.S. She is super healthy and fantastic... No symptoms at all in case you are wondering how she is doing!

• Relationship to image: This is my spoiled rotton, 8 year old male Cockatiel, Toby.
• Story: I had no idea how much personality birds had until I got one for my high school graduation gift 8 years ago. I thought all they did was chirp and poop all day long, boy was I wrong!!! He laughs,cries, smiles at me with eyes, screams at me when I leave the room, he acts like my best friend when I have a bag of potatoe chips or McDonalds french fries, he says "hello Sweetie" when I come home from work, and funniest of all, he's completely in love with himself......he does the wolf whistle to his reflection in the mirror and tells himself what a "Pretty Big Bird" he is!! lol. I love him to death and could'nt imagine my life without him.

Story: This photo was taken the first day I got to know Igby, after having been away at school. After climbing me and trying to remove my glasses and eat my chain she finally settled down, just long enough for me to scritch her neck and snap this photo.

Name of the image: Can YOU Touch Your Nose With Your Tongue?
Relationship to image: My little girl -- Savannah
Story: This is a picture of my female cat -- Savannah. We found her along with her 6 brothers and sisters underneath our greenhouse. At six weeks old she only weighed 3/4 of a pound and had pink eye in both eyes so bad that they were glued shut. We took her to the vet and gave her lots of TLC. We found homes for all her siblings and the momma. But, we just couldn't give up the littlest one.
She now lives in the house with her older brother Benson and her younger brother Tommy. She is the only female cat we have ever had and she is TOTALLY a daddy's girl.
Every time I see this picture I laugh. I added it to my screen saver and just love when it comes up.

Name: Scooter
Relationship: My Brother!!!
Story: My parents own a pet store in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. (on the south shore) Mom decided she needed to have some birds in the store so she ordered some different birds, they came from Toronto. When the birds arrived at the airport my father and I can never keep from opening the boxes to see what the animals look like well before we get them home. The first box had Scooter in it. This had to be the most ugly bird I had ever seen. He was just a baby then. Mom imediately fell in love with him, he wasnt old enough to eat seeds on his own so mom had to feed him with a syringe and mix water with a powder for baby birds. She then had to feed him with this syringe. He was definately never going to be sold everyone fell in love with him and he has become our pet. He lives at Kameko's Cove and Aquatics (my parents store). He is known as the mascot because he talks to everyone who comes in. His vocabulary is still slim but he can say: Hi, right, love you, mom, and a few more things i cant think of. He is our Prince Charming.

Relationship my cat Ms.Minou
Story: Ms Minou sleeps all day while I clean n scrub. Come night time her royal highness decides that its now time for me to devote my attention to her and what Ms Minou wants she gets. I am entirley devoted to my Queen.
