    Hey all,

I have just found the best deal! Bell TV is starting this Ambassador program, and you just go onto a site, fill out a really quick survey, and if you meet certain criteria, you get picked.
You get a free HD (high def) receiver, installed for free, and a bunch of free programming.
You do have to sign up for at least a min package, but it's only $35 and it's less than I was paying with my cable. Plus-before, I had to pay a rental fee-this I don't!

AND if I tell my friends, I get $20 off my Bell TV bill for every friend that signs up. I'm trying to write off my bill!

    The suvey site is:
    http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?s...GHRGKHFA_3d_3d

Oh-and I think it's only good for those who live like 2 hours within Toronto, because the dealer who does the installations is in Barrie. Just a heads up.

    no yearly contract.

I did have to sign up for their basic packaging (which is like $35/month). But if I don't like the HD, I can cancel out at any time.

I just figured that since I was paying more before, with the rental fees-why not get the unit for free, and then also get some free programming.

Plus-the more people I tell-the more $$ i'll get off of my tv bill if they sign up too.

    I think it's a wicked deal, personally.

I love HD!!! I wish they had more channels in HD. The clarity of High Def is really good. I think that this is a really good deal for someone who is thinking about getting an HD box. I pay monthly rental for my box and then for the channels.

    chinook,

    are you with Bell already?

If you aren't-why not sign up and not pay the rental fee?

If you are-the lady on the phone told me that the referral program works for existing Bell customers. So if you tell people to do teh survey, and they sign up...then you get $20 off each person that signs up from your bell tv bill.

    just a thought...

Nikkibk: I am with my local cable company. I have HD, Cable, Phone and Internet all in one package. At this time, I'm not thinking of switching, but it is good to know for the future. I still think that this Bell offer is great, probably way, way cheaper than mine. Thanks for letting everyone know about this.
