free stuff from itunes ( ** must have ipod**)

I use my ipod everyday but have never paid for music. I decided to check the istore and who knew they have free offers. They have free songs ( new artists they are trying to promote) and free movie clips. When you plug in your ipod the player will automatically pop up click on the left hand side on istore, then when the store loads on the left hand side you will find free on itunes ( 2nd little box down - bottom of the row).

they have different songs for different countries too......I've once made a US account because somebody gave me an US itunes card, and they've got different free songs up there

I tried and it won't work, they want a credit card, which I don't want to put in.

Did it work for you without a credit card info?

I don't think you need an ipod plugged in, from what I've seen. Someone else posted about the free weekly single and you don't need an ipod plugged in for that.

The other post you require a credit card, which mine above you do not need a credit card because you have the software. The other post you may have to pay so much for a monthly fee or using the server. When you purchase your ipid you get the software, so you get it free.

Thanks. Sometimes I check out what they have, I love to get free music I also love all the free podcasts they have, like the fitness ones you can put on your ipod. Good stuff!

The software is always free off their website. I thought the credit card was always required to setup an account that allows you to access their store and download.
