i have been a few times in the last bit but there seems to be no amazing deals or any deals..really is kind of sad for us bargin shoppers. Oh, well guess we all will just have to pop in once in awhile and keep each other in the loop. Was really hoping to get some allergey, cold medication cheap.

Is it true that we are not allowed to use coupons now?

If anyone missed it: Victoria Secret is opening tmrw, and the first 2o ppl in line get a $50 gc to midtown.
Danier is apparently closing soon, so they are having sales?! have yet to go in a confirm, but they have good quality purses.

Personally, VS is expensive as shiat in general (and in canada they have a small selection) and when the CAD $ wasnt so low - it was better to buy it online.

Also: since i've moved here, everytime i've gone to that mall, the escalators are never working?? is this normal?

also, got bored while waiting for an appointment near stonebridge so I wandered around walmart. They have some good clearance items throughout the store, throws for $5, sheet sets for $25.

Near the health and beauty section in the middle of the aisle, theres hair dye ranging from $2-$4 (Garnier/John Frieda/Loreal) blonde-brown shades. And there was also pads from Stay free and Kotex overnights for $4. Other beauty items there as well, but none really a good deal imo

at independent on kenderdine, in the fresh groceries section they had 2 mini grow your own basil sets for half off! So it'd be around $5 plus tax, pretty cute gift to give to someone! Saw alot of hair accessories on clearance too (donut buns, detangler brush) good for a grad gift possibly

Alrighty, just back from London drugs and we have v. v. sad news to report. Coupon stacking is now much more difficult (read: impossible) with the new regulations from HO. Any coupons that state "not to be combined with any other offer" can no longer be stacked or price matched.

The end of an era, folks. A moment of silence.... :-(

Can you use a coupon on an item that's on sale still?

^ yes I was told that same thing. Also, you cannot no longer PM AND use coupons. This is kind of ridiculous. I understand if they want to discontinue the stacking but not allowing coupons on PMing is just awful, especially when LD is really expensive...might as well go to SDM, where points [and thus some incentives] are given!

mandy403, this is what I was talking about!
