Does anyone know what currency the Starbucks Gift Card is in?
/for ex. if I were to sell it online, could anyone use it, anywhere in the world?

My experience is that Starbucks GC can be used everywhere. I've used my card in Canada, U.S. and this week in Hong Kong.

Because the card you have is in USD :D
I use my registered US and Canadian cards interchangeably in both countries without any issues, and at any international airport.

You can take it to any Starbucks and have the money transferred to your registered SB card or put it on a new card and when you register that online at starbucks.ca you will get a free handcrafted beverage, any kind, any size.

It does have a currency, USD. I haven't had any issues using the card in the US and Canada (and if you travel to the States, it's more cost effective to use it there!).

Last time I tried, I couldn't transfer the USD gift card to my CAD registered Starbucks card online. But you could just try registering it in your account as a separate card? That should work fine. But, as @IthinkIcan pointed out, you could try in-store too. Anyone have success with transferring a USD gift card to a CAD gift card in-store, or would they just register it as a separate card too?

I always have money on my USD card and can not transfer to my Canadian card online but in-store I give them both my cards and they transfer seamlessly.

As an added bonus for some, it will affect the value. Ie; I've bought US starbucks card, used it in Canada and the value goes up based on exchange rate. As in buy $5 USD card value in Cdn $6.53 (But will also work in the reverse, so if using a Cdn card in Us expect less money)
