Well I got my call from the pain clinic which is usually good news. However, they never opened up shop in Oshawa and are now taking referrals to their office in the middle of nowhere Toronto-sigh! back to square one.

Thx for the hints especially the scooter one. I cant even get up to feeling like shopping, wish I did. I miss my stockpile. Your symptoms sound similar to how I feel, pain tiredness and all while doing not much of anything. This sucks, some days I cant even get up the energy to shower, I live in my nice comfy housecoat for most of the time.
The most serious gardening I do would seem very strange to an onlooker, for it involves hours of walking round in circles, apparently doing nothing." --Helen Dillon

In much pain even though I went to the physio., I had to trudge through the snow there and back.
The pain is so bad that my meds. are maxed out for the day.
Please say a prayer for me.

So I found out that I have fibromyalgia. Pretty upsetting as I just want to not feel pain anymore. Even with meds it still hurts. It seems the tramadol im taking already is the pain killer of choice for this condition or whatever they call it. anyone else here have this and still work or return to work. I also had microdiscetomy last aug due to herniated disks and a compressed nerve. My physio seems to think that I should try to work! I cant even clean my house or myself most days! I know shes good but I know im not ready yet. It takes me hours after I wake,up to get moving. Thst is why I make my appts for in the pm. I havent even had time to absorb this info yet j just found out last tues

I take tramacet (tramadol + acetaminophen) for endometriosis and it does the trick - however i`m not working at the moment.
Perhaps tramadol isn`t strong enough for you? Have you tried percocet? Or will your doctor not offer it?

It just depend on the day or pain relief. The old saying some days are better than others......but it's true.

I get very tired from dealing with pain & I wish that I had a solution that would send this pain thing packing. My pain is nerve type pain, it is related to a genetic condition I have & it is related to cancer.

I mentioned targin on here before. Does anyone know anything about it?

I did a seach on fibromyalgia and microdiscetomy, and found this interesting info www.thankyoudrsarno.org and then this http://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/The_Tensi..._Syndrome_Wiki
It covers a wide range of conditions. When I feel up to it I will read more.

For me today, carrot cake with very delicious icing is pretty good for chasing the pain away.
