It is unfortunate when this happens but Loblaws is on top of it. There is a facebook coupon claiming to give you a $250 coupon for Loblaws. This is a obvious fraud coupon to most.... but there are always new people whom can be taken advantage of. Here is a link to Loblaw's facebook post. The goal is to make sure nobody gets taken advantage of.

I had seen mention of the same value coupon last month circulating online. Surprised that it is still making the rounds.

I see variations of it all the time. I have friends who fall for them all the time because " You never know. THIS one might be true..."

    Great heads-up.

Another scam making the rounds is the free samples from Costco - it was on our local news today that some have gotten caught with this scam - samples are free (if there really are any), but they ask for money (cc or bank) for shipping, then they keep taking money - in the hundreds and maybe more for some.

Note: several years ago, there were free samples offered by mail from Costco - but one went directly to their site, not through clickbait.
