LA Angels and Texas are having a whale of a game today.
At one point in the bottom of the eighth inning Texas was winning 10 - 6
Now in the top of the 9th, LAA have regained the lead and are winning 11 - 10.
What a game !!! LA Angels remind me of the Jays since there seems to be no quit in them.
Things look very bleak for them to gain a wild card position, but they are giving it their best effort.Last edited by zfurman; Sat, Oct 3rd, 2015 at 06:02 PM.

Well the Jays have their destiny in their own hands.
Win today or tomorrow and they will win the overall AL lead.
Lets hope that they can get a win in the next two days.
I also hope that they can give Buehrle to pitch two innings to get to his 15th 200 innings pitched season.
Call me a softy, but I believe they owe it to him for his efforts during his tenure as a Blue Jay even if he retires at the end of this year.Last edited by zfurman; Sat, Oct 3rd, 2015 at 06:03 PM.

I think we may just have lost the American League Championship.
Unless K.C. loses tomorrow, and we win, it's gone.

If the Jays win tomorrow and KC Loses Toronto will still have the AL league advantage based on series play this year between the two teams which still favours the Jays 4 - 3..
Seems very unlikely at this point.

Very happy to see that the Jays are giving the start today to Buehrle to allow him to reach the 200 innings pitched plateau for the 15th season in a row.
A class move by the Jays even if means him pitching for two innings.
Please excuse my classless rant yesterday about Osuna. It was irresponsible and totally uncalled for.
I apologize to everyone for having posted it.Last edited by zfurman; Sun, Oct 4th, 2015 at 10:25 AM.
