I am so ticked at SDM I could spit

I am so mad at Shoppers Drug Mart right now, I could spit.

Today is the last day of the bonus redemption day, so I am calling all over Toronto to all the SDMs to see if they have Wii Fits. Of course, they are all sold out.

But then I call the SDM at 10 Dundas Street East and speak to someone there and he says, Yes, we have one left. I ask him to put it away for me and he says yes, no problem. I am estatic, I tell my son, yea, I am doing down to get it now.
So wanting to make sure I get it, as it appears to be the last one in the city right now, I want to get down there as fast as I can, because with my luck, some other salesperson would sell it before I got there, even put away. So like the fool that I am, I jump in a taxi and roar down there, making it in record breaking speed. I run into the store and I find the guy who has put it away. I say, I called a short while ago and you put a Wii Fit away for me.
He starts laughing and says, Oh, I thought you said a Wii Said (whatever the hell that is). I stand there with a stunned look on my face, thinking he is pulling my leg cause he knows how badly I wanted it.
No, he was not pulling my leg. I was so mad I could have gone across the counter at him. He said oh, someone else called about a Wii Said and I thought that you were them so I thought you said Wii Said. WHAT?

Like an idiot I took a taxi down there. GEEEZ.

Head office does not know what they are in for tomorrow morning.

And then on top of that, just to add the cherry on top, when I leave SDM, I walked to Burger King to get some comfort food and she screws my order up.

Anyway, thanks for letting me rant.

That really sucks. I, too, called all over my city (and surrounding area) yesterday trying to find a store that had a Wii Fit. No luck, though...

Instead, I cashed in my points and bought an Oral-B Triumph toothbrush ($174.99!!!). It's not nearly as fun, but my dentist will be happy, I guess!

sorry to hear about that, i had a similar experience at LUlulemon, they put an item on hold for me, only for me to show up at the store and its on the rack (luckily it was there) but nothing to stop anyone else from getting it!

We bought one last October and I love it, my teeth feel great from it. My husband's teeth did not like it, I should say his fillings didn't like it, it took out to of his fillings. If you have any fillings that are questionable use it very gently.
