Walmart Price Adjustment- Time limits?

I've searched the other Walmart threads but I haven't found an answer to my question.

I would like to know how long after you buy something at Walmart do they let you go back and do price adjustment if the item has gone on sale? Some other places it's 30 days some places it's less. I was wondering if anyone on here would know?

Most stores it's 15 days.

But I've never done adjustments at walmart, so I don't know.

Their policy (as I've been told) is 15 days, but nothing's stopping you from buying another identical item and using your original receipt to return it.

I emailed Walmart last week about this and here is their answer.



"Good afternoon,

Thank you for contacting us.
In regards to your email inquiry, price adjustment are within 30 days only on original purchases not on clearance merchandise.
For further assistance please contact your local store manager.

That's good to know because any time I've done it, they've said 15 days (which is why I just buy another one to return with my original receipt - plus, you can do returns up to 90 days).

It should tell you the return policies on the back of your wal-mart receipt.

My Zellers also said 14 days. I bought 3 Duvets on sale and noticed 2 weeks later they were on for even more money off. I'm so glad I had my receipts with me as I was on the last day for a price adjustment. Saved $30 more.
