I don't understand why they do that, things cost more out there. I know this cause I drive truck and visit SDM stores all over Canada.
What about contacting head officeJoin GROUPON for incredible deals, click here

I know quite a few contacted head office last time but I don't think anyone got any real answers . I didn't write anything last time but I just did send something else. Its really not right that they all of a sudden start deciding to value a certain number of customers more than others with no explanation in why they are making these changes.

So this is only happening in certain provinces?????? I'm so confused. In the ad it states that BC and the Eastern provinces are excluded. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Agreed..it sucks!! Why do they treat the western provinces differently...is our money not the same? is our loyalty to their store not the same? GRRR!!
The last time I complained to them about the redemption levels, they gave me 7000 bonus points. I know others who got extra points as well. If we all write to them each time, and they end up having to shell out extra points to make good on their customer service...they might realize that they are better off just giving us the all the same redemption level.
Write SDM head office (via email) and express your dissatisfaction! http://www.shoppersdrugmart.ca/engli..._dialogue.html

According to the email I got from them, and the paper flyer, Nova Scotia does get it, but only an additional $20 for 75,000 points.
Last time I ddin't see enough good deals to do it, but might this time. If I wait for the $50 bonus we used to get, might be waiting till the cows come home!
IMO, boycotting won't make much difference. That's just that much less free stuff they have to give away! Hurts them more by your GETTING some free stuff!

FYI--------------------------------------------------------------------
KEEP YOUR POINTS!!!
It is better to redeem on Senior days/Back to school days.
At least then you're getting 20% OFF your purchase.
$200 purchase = $160 AFTER DISCOUNT -$150 redemption....and the difference is only $10!
SO STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS EVENT AND use the SENIOR day on the 30th!
