Kelloggs Straws Frenzy @ WM

Yes they are on sale for $1.00. I was able to get 42 boxes for free with 14 of the $2 coupons from cereal boxes. Here's what I did:

42 X straws = $42
14 x $2 Straws = (-$28)
14 X $1 WUB 2 Kelloggs = (-$14)
-------------------------------
Total OOP = $0 (gotta love it when you dont pay taxes on foods)

I did it in 2 trips. Second trip bought only these and nothing else. Cashier was in shock when the total came to 0.00 she got manager (not supervisor) to come and look, he was scratching his head too saying it can't be right. But after checking all coupons he agreed 0.00 is the right total.

The $1WUB2 were still available last week at WM I grabbed a bunch. So if you guys have these and the $2 coupon as well then this is a great way to use them, especially when the store won't credit you the full $2 when the product is onsale for $1 (never ran into problem with this but technically straws are $2/2 so I would argue $2 coupon is valid if you are buying in multiples of 2)

Oh wow. I love these straws I think I have 5-7 boxes but I find they are very high in sugar content. Have a blast eating them

Gave away or sold them to friends for $0.50/box (thats how much I paid before I thought of combining the coupons, I bought some before and used just the $1 WUB2). I don't like them that much, too much sugar. They are all gone now otherwise I would've taken a picture LOL.

i found them in the middle of the store as well. they might be stored elsewhere. Check the expiry cause i saw some that expire june... incase you stockpile...=)

ya some were Jul/09 and some were Sep/09. I got all with Sep/09 expiry
