My SCOP Deal - Zellers

I ran over to Zellers after getting my groceries, where I saved $12 with coupons to pick up some fiber bars for dh.

I remember I saw Mr. Clean 2/$3 so i went looking.

I picked up two Mr.clean erasers (both different)

Used my coupone, by 2 different and save $2, the cashier said, they really aren't different. I said, they have different UPS and different box, they are different.

OK fine, They scan at $3.99 each.

SHe goes to put them in at $1.50 each x 2 - $2.00 = $1.00

Still a great deal.

But then she says, oh yeah, SCOp and takes of $3.00 lol

So I got PAID $2.00 for buying Mr. Clean Erasers.

On my way home, I stoped to get dh a free coffee from Mc. Ds




AND LEarning Young, trying to get 2 for one. lol

I went to Zellers the other day and I had several items scan at higher (i,e was 10.56 and came in at 11.56&) the cashier stated they dont do SCOP & no Zellers does. So does that mean Zelelrs participates in it.

I had the same thing - didn't come up on sale, I mentioned SCOP and the cashier said that they do not obide by SCOP, just adjusted price. To further complain, I was basically called a fraud because I was trying to use "double coupons" - 50 cents off Cascade, BOGO Cascade Actionpacs and free bottle of Mr. Clean when I was buying the 3 Cascade gel for $10. She called her supervisor who "let me" have the Mr. Clean just to shut me up basically but refused to use the 50 cent coupons. I had 7 items, 7 coupons - what is the big deal? I really don't understand why retailers want to make it so hard for people to use coupons. It is to everyone's advantage!

Wow you really lucked out I have tried to SCOP at Zellers but I was told that the cashiers have access to price adjust so they do not participate in SCOP.

The only Zellers that do SCOP are the ones in Quebec where it is the law and they have no choice.
If they did SCOP at my Zellers in Ontario they would be bankrupt in a day.

Yes they do SCOP here but they NEVER bring it up and they make it very difficult for you to collect on that. Not enough people do it here or as you say they would be belly up in a week.

LOL - they can be so slack in correcting their prices some times - I'm sure that's why they don't participate in SCOP.

I tried to get the Febreze Mr Clean Earsers and they told me it was not those ones?? But awesome finds and that you were allowed to SCOP.
