Well I called the night before to hold the Nintendo DS lite but they wouldn't hold. 3 other locations didn't even carry it. So I went in on Saturday afternoon and quickly checked out the photo section to see if there were any left. Yep..all 3 were still there. I knew I had to spend another $58 before I became a plus member. So I grabbed $8 worth of KD cups and headed back to the photo till. I told the cashier that I wanted to purchase a gift card first, then pay for my KD then redeem. Sure no prob right? Well she went to put the SDM GC in and I handed her my optimum card. She told me I don't get points on GC. I told her you do on SDM cards and told her to put it through. Anyway I went to say okay on the debit machine and it froze. Another 15 mins later and they still couldn't unfreeze it.

They finally take me to a different till and ring in my sdm gc. After, she starts ringing in my kd cups. The new cashier starts punching in my coupons and rings them up as 60c instead of 30c per 2. She had to void each one. Then she went to ring them up again and something odd came up on the cash register, like I was purchasing something for a baby. So she voided out the whole transaction and started again....10 mins later I finally get my purchases made became and Plus member got another 10,000 points, cashed out $200 for a Nintendo DS lite $139.99 & game $49.99
and the new vibrating mascara $18.99 (used my $5.00 off coupon on top of that).

BTW I just got my Optimum card the end of May or beginning of June. I've only spent around $400, shopped for items I use, bought on bonus days, used bonus coupons and bought items with bonus points on them. I still had enough points to redeem another $100 as well but I'll save that for another bonus redemption. I think I only need another 20,000 for another 75,000 point cash out.

Oh and hubby will never believe me when I say I'll only be a few mins in the store. I think I was in there for about 40mins total because of my magnetic curse on the tills. lol

Very nice, I had no idea points added up that quickly. I used to have a SDM within walking distance from where I worked but then office moved and I hardly ever go to one now. I just don't like shopping at SDM. my loss
