The word must be out! The store was a little crazy and alot of the stuff was picked over. They did have some new stuff on clearance including alot of cookies and crackers.
This is what I found today:
Glue Gun (needed a new one) $2.49
Dad's Cookies $1.85
Gum $1.50
Cheese $3.50
Axe Bullets 4 pk - $1.87
Bedford Superstore is having a major clearance sale on alot of items. They are closed Monday to totally rearrange the store.
This is some of the deals they had available.
2x Liveactive Cheese - 50% off & after coupon PAID .90 Cents
6x Olivina Marg. - 50% off & after coupon PAID .60 Cents
4x Trident Gum 4pk - 50% off PAID $1.50
6x Extra Lean Ground Beef - 50% off
1x Big Cap Muffins (dh lunch) - 50% off
2x Cheerios & Cinnamon toast Crunch - each with free magazine subscription or book.
1x Green Bin - after printable coupon = FREE
They have about 8 or more carts plus some bins near the toy section with misc. food items, Lipton Iced tea, tea, NN cat litter, giant bags of dog food, mach 3 type razors, lg. cans of tomato juice, knorr oxo cubes and pouches and gum. They also had some hair products, deoderants and boys training pants near the pharmacy. (all marked 50% off)
The best thing was in the meat department where I got a few packs of extra lean beef for 50% off as well as a large selection of cheese (live active, cracker barrel, no name and others) tubs and econo packs of cream cheeze, yogurt, latancia butter as well as some other butter in tubs and little blocks.
Also, in front of the electronics they had HP printers on sale for $14.99!
PS - If you go, don't forget to print off your coupon for a free green bin
I would have gotten alot more stuff but you can only fit so much in a fridge freezer.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->This thread is currently associated with: Knorr, Real Canadian Superstore RCSSLast edited by redmouse; Thu, Apr 30th, 2009 at 12:09 PM.

There was a story in the news the other day with the leader of PR and Marketing for Walmart and they were talking about some the shopping trends now with the economic situation. They said by the end of the month people can afford less as the paycheck are gone so they have learned to reduce the pricing of ground beef and ground pork as most people will go for that. At the beginning of the month however prime ribs and steaks will raise in prices as they know new month new paycheck and people are more willing to buy those items then.
Interesting as you found ground beef on sale and it is month end Way to go !

Wow hope superstores in Dartmouth do the same thing. They really must be cleaning house. Great time to be there. Also they may be reducing for inventory purposes as they may have to do the counting tomorrow. Month ends are always fun.
