This is a thread to review Physician's Formula makeup. I know loads of you have bought some of these products with all the SDM and Pharma Plus sales/rebates/coupons available lately. I got a couple myself and thought it would be helpful and fun to review them here.

Powder Palette Multi-Coloured Brush - Blushing Peach
I love these multi-colour powders from PF, they are so cool. This product comes with a bunch of different colours that you swirl together to get that peach look. I give props for PF for putting a brush and mirror in these, but no one is going to use the brush, it's scratchy and I would much rather get more product than have a large opening for a brush.
The packaging on these is deceiving, you think you are getting a lot more product, then you open it and are sadly mistaken. Good thing there are sales on PF products all the time, I got this for 40% off and there are rebates available too, so you end up paying like $6 CAD for this in the end, which is really good for the quality you get.
The blush is pretty, it's a peachy/pink a little bit of shimmer in it. I am NC15 and this shows up on my skin, looks natural, I like it. I mistakenly thought I didn't have that much on my face (since my bathroom light is so horrible) and put on waay too much, I noticed in a department store mirror. So you only need a bit (if you are fair like me) or else you will look like a clown. I blended it in with my fingers and it was alright after that.

Powder Palette Multi-Coloured Face Powder in Light Bronzer
It is a little bigger than the multi-coloured blush, but the design is the same, silver packaging (deceiving you to think you get more product than you really do), mirror and brush included (you should probably stay away from this brush and get a good powder brush).
This powder comes with lots of different colour parts, some peach, light brown, dark brown, beige and teensy bit of shimmer. It doesn't leave a chalky film on your face. It is a light bronzer as the name says, so it give a soft, natural bronzing to your face. You can use a little or a lot depending on how much bronzer you want. It does not irritate your skin, PF is supposed to be good for people with sensitive skin to use, that is one of their selling points. I don't think this would show up on people who have darker skin tones, I am pretty fair so this one works for me. There are darker bronzers in this line available.
I would totally repurchase the other bronzers in this line. I am planning on getting the healthy glow bronzer soon.

    Organic Wear Face Sculpting Trio
I got suckered into buying this because it came with 3 brushes (it was a bonus pack) and the packaging was really cool. The brushes are crap and scratchy, I don't like them. I got the powder in light organics, I didn't know which colour to get, they all looked the same.
This product comes with three waves in the powder, a highlighter, face powder and bronzer. Trouble is, I don't know how anyone matches this to their skintone, the powder is very challky. I liked the idea of this product, but I think I am going to return it. I swatched it very lightly and it gives like no colour payoff. I would stay away from the organic line, it kinda smells weird too.

I have purchased this product at SDM and I am extremely disappointed in not only the product but the fact that I used a $3 coupon on it. I love PF make-up and use many of their products but this mascara falls short of their normal quality. I found that although I loved the angled brush, the mascara clumped on the brush. I did not care for the way that the mascara went onto my lashes as it keep smearing onto my lid and cheek. Once smeared it was very hard to get off. I wore this mascara to my daughters triathlon for the first time, therefore I was outside. It smeared down my face (think Tammy Faye) and I had to scrub to remove the smears. The second time the application was slightly better but the mascara still smugged onto my face an hour after application and made my lashes feel sticky. I love The PF LASH-IN-A-TUBE MASCARA. Donot recommend this one.
NOTE: I did send an e-mail to PF over a week ago about this product and have yet to hear a reply back???

LOVE THIS. My new fav. product. It is a lipsick-lip gloss-lip balm all in one.It is simple and natural, goes on smoothly and lasts. The "Nude" is not strong in colour but adds just enough that you feel as if your lips aren't naked. The size is also perfect for purse (not pocket) just slightly bigger than a pen.It feels nice on, not heavy with a little bit of shine.I'm 35, don't need lots of shine.

Yet another review. This is the LIP PLUMPING GLOSS. Not a bad product but...
It does plump your lips and I would say as far as gloss and shine this gets 10 out of 10 but it is sticky. Hair does get stuck to your lips when wearing this. Also does not have staying power.
As for the plumping-it does. There is something in it that makes your lips "tingle" when first applying. I also found that if you are not careful when applying that this product will temporarily cause irritation to the skin around your lips. If you want high gloss and plumping this does work. It adds drama if you are looking for it. This product does get used but stays at home in my make-up bag, not in my purse or van for everyday use. See previous post for the go everywhere PF lip stuff.

Last post for now.. I love this product. Use it even on day care days or just bumming around the house. This is the MINERAL WEAR TALC FREE TINTED MOISTURIZER WITH SPF 15. It is light and goes on smoothly. The tint is subtle but noticeable. This product does not get greasy as the day go on nor does it feel heavy on your skin. It has the added bonus of the SPF if you are looking for it. If you use this product daily plan on replacing it on a monthly basis.

Baked Collection Eyeshasdow - Baked Sands
This comes in neat domed, sturdy packaging with three bulb-like shaped shadows that can be applied wet or dry. I guess all shadows can be applied wet or dry, wet gives more oompf and pigmentation. These have lots of pigmentation in my opinion and are a great value for drugstore makeup which tends to not have great colour payoff and/or fallout. Baked Sands, which sounds really cool, comes with three neutral colours, including a chocolate brown, bronze and vanilla. These can be great for an everyday look. They give your eyes some shimmer, without looking glittery at all, which is what I look for

I couldn't find them either. I had to trade. But the 40% off comes up all the time.

There is no such thing as "too much makeup."

    haha true!

I found a rebate today!!!! I used it to buy my sis makeup though...the eyeshadow for your eye colour for her to use for prom tomorrow night since she has like no makeup...it was 15.97 with 40% off which came to 9.97 or something like that then tax so when I get the $5 rebate on it then it will have only cost $5

did everyone read on the rebate where its only one per household?!! that annoys me I was going to grab a few more rebates and get the organic eyeliner at walmart since its around $9 there and it was $12 at the drug store

Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liner - For Green Eyes
This eyeshadow is meant to enhance different eye colours with the different colours of eyeshadow that you get. They can also be used as liners. I like the packaging of this, again PF is really good on their packaging.
This product's application to me was so-so. I was hoping these shadows would show up as good as the baked sands palette, but I found them to be quite sheer. The only ones that really stand out are the darker ones in this, the purples, dark green and brown. The idea that green shadow emphasizes green eyes, I don't really understand though. I wouldn't repurchase this product. It also comes in smokey varieties, maybe that one would show up better. I own so much eyeshadow already, this one isn't that great.
