I am not crafty at all, though I really admire people who have a talent in that department, especially knitting, sewing, crocheting, wood carving, and tole painting.
There is a woman in this area who crochets the most amazing things! Her dolls, in particular, are fantastic. She makes celebrity replicas and presents them to singers who put on concerts in the area. Jim Parsons (of The Big Bang Theory) is pictured holding the doll she sent him and he appeared on a talk show or two with it! Since then, she has been working flat out with orders for her creations. If you'd like to check her work out, look up Am(i)dorable Crochet on Facebook and go to her photos page. She also has a nice blog that shows media coverage of her work.Last edited by TrueNorthTreasures; Sun, Jul 20th, 2014 at 12:30 PM.

I just found an interesting finishing technique for anyone who wants to make those fleece blankets for tots or anyone else.....so much nicer than those knotty fringes!

And the doggie quilt for our dog park's raffle basket for Woof Fest on Oct 4th!
And...Jenny's tentative claim on it...
ps...the edges look uneven, but that's because it's just rumpled on the floor...

Very nice work. ^^
Not very crafty. DH loves airbrushing and my DD is really interested in graphic design. I never really have been crafty myself.

Since I posted these on another thread, I thought I'd bump this one so more folks would post their creations.
The first pic is a garnet necklace I made for my bff's aunt's 80th b-day last week.
These are examples of my amethyst obsession.
All the chains and findings are silver-plated.
