I'll be outside by 7pm. Between a film shoot & more construction (Cherry will be closed again next week - for a year! aaargh!!!!), my street is a mess. Tourist season should be lots of fun this year. Eeeeek!

Unfortunately, I have theatre plans for that night. Not sure whether I should be happy or sad I can't go to the concert. That's what I get for having a life.

The sad part is even boots don't help. She fusses that the boots are wet. You should see us when it's been raining for a few days non-stop - Lily decked out in a raincoat & boots, me holding an umbrella over her. She's not spoiled, is she?
Nope, all is well. D had fun (even if not completely relaxed). The best way to describe it was that we were in downtown Chicago doing the tourist thing, the hotel was in Barrie & the concert was in Molson Park. The locals we met said it was risky to do unless you had a car (cabs are scarce & transit's a hike away). We had a blast tho. That's the important part.
if you're serious, i'm all over it. i can be ready in a moments notice. i'm on holidays that week, so i don't have to worry about work, but i sure hope your friend can go. it would be such a shame.
Passport`s in process now, the other glitch is finding someone to act as caregiver while wè`re gone (brother might be dealing with his MIL going into hospital & aunt's going in for surgery soon - sigh, ). Don't suppose ya wanna be my back-up plan?
tell your friend to hurry up. the process is a lot simplier now & you can get a passport in about 3 days. i know what you're feeling. i was like that when i went to mexico. have fun & i hope your friend is able to go.
Nope, I'm still on cloud 9. Still revved up, but getting to the point I'm too tired to be hyper. Only hiccup will be whether my friend can get a passport in time (poor thing hasn't been anywhere since 2005 so didn't think a passport was necessary - I on the other hand, am ocd about having a valid passport). I'm still in shock that I actually won something. & such a huge prize at that!
or the fish counter. just stuff him in the carrier/purse. lol
I would, but you know those silly grocery stores, they have no sense of humour. I can just see the horror on the employee's faces if Quincy were to go inspect the meat counter.
I took Lily to Woofstock once when she was a pup (she got up on the stage & jumped through a hula hoop, then waved at the audience). Now she's too scared of other dogs to enjoy it. I'll likely take Quincy, although that means hauling him around in my/his purse (I suppose it's good weight training for me ).

LOL, your brats are just hilarious. the dogs that we use to have just loved the snow. they'd be out there jump & rolling around in it, tearing around in a circle. it was funny to watch. have a great psunday.
Oh, yes, they have coats & boots (& scarves too). But when a certain someone sticks her nose into the snow & starts sneezing, she decides it's too cold to be out communing with nature.
I had to leave Lily at home. She`s not a dog person, so would not have enjoyed all the doggies in line. Quincy has no such qualms, he likes to tell them off. I still wonder how he`s managed to stay off the Naughty list??? Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Actually, she's not a cake person. I think a couple of chocolate martinis will make her very happy (a few years back I ordered a chocolate martini for myself, she took a sip & finished it off - since then, I order a chocolate martini for myself when we go out, but I never get to drink it ).
