It's great that you got out to the Q bash, I'm really sorry you were feel some pain though, I surely hope you are not getting that dreaded thing you mentioned...Did fuimus give you a ride, you come from Hamilton, don't you? I'm leaving to go camping another few days tomorrow at the Pinery around Grand Bend. I'd go longer if I could. Too bad more people didn't go to the Q bash, usually there are more. Well, I'm sure there will be more events there.

Hi Gf glad ur home & safe I would of had more fun if I met some of you girls & more Yes I went out tried to have a great had some but my pain I truly had to fight to hide, by end of eveing fuimus had help me by pushing in my walker that we hid in his car I think it from mostly having to stand so long If i drank it may of helped but was to scred being on certain meds need to eaze my fun in a little at a time cus after that night I was down& out most all weekend & Monday I HATE MY PAIN SO BAD Evelyn& I may have worse news soon I may have MS OMG I am scared I hope to meet so much trying hard to go back Thursday 2C Goddo & have extra ticket just need a ride again getting close in my savings to buy a car soon that makes me happy so close to a goal & owning a car again as I kicked the buket died gone over a year no car of own sometimes I rent LOL I saw that hicks(N) is having great trip glad yors was good except for that poor guy TTYS My friend love Cassie ♥♥

I'm sorry about that girl saying she didn't like your posts, I think most people appreciate you doing the trivia and posting funny pics! I'm sooo glad you've decided not to declaw Melody when you get her. Try to start her out right with different scratching posts. If you have something you don't want scratched you can spray some stuff on it they don't like, something you can get from a pet store. You can also get some clear sticky stuff to protect your furniture. I guess you did read up on it did you? Take Care!

Hi, I just read your note the other day but have been out day and night. I'm glad you did write back, I thought you must be mad at me for talking about the declawing issue. I'm so glad you will look into it. I don't have an exact link to send you but as I said before just type in declawing cats into your address bar at the top of your computer screen and lots of stuff will come up, click on all those links and you'll learn a lot about it. The first one from Donlands Hospital doesn't really count because the vets there make money from it, a lot of vets refuse to do it and rightly so. Let me know how you do. Thanks

It is exciting you are getting a kitten Cass, but you mentioned getting his/her "claws" done, if you mean you will have the cat declawed please, please think again. This procedure is banned in a lot of countries because there can be a lot of complications and the cat never feels the same as it would with its natural paws. They cut away more than just the nail. PLEASE just put in declawing cats on the right hand side of your computer to google it and read up on it before you make a final decision. Even if he/she will be indoors they still need their nails, please read up on it. There are many ways you can get them not to scratch furniture rather than cutting off their toes, two-sided tape for your furniture, spraying etc. Some people think it is okay but it definitely is not for the poor cat. The H.S. I go to will not allow you to adopt if you are thinking of doing this. Please just read up some more and look at the pics. Thanks if you look into it more.

Oh, that's so nice you may get a cat or kitten Cass. Where from and when? For names, I read somewhere it's easier for them to come etc. if the names ends in the sound "e", like mine are Amy and Daisy. Don't know how true that is but I remember reading it somewhere.

On a different topic Cassie I am really worried about her as I told you with out a PC its hard for me to reach her and I know shes is not doing good. Last I heard she was going for more test. The program that looks after her wont give me any info as I am not related (long story) I am doing the clubs for her as its one of the few things she cares so much about and I promised her I would keep posting stuff for her. Cassie is very important to me I would be there if I could she needs support but its impossible at the moment. Cassie came down here last time because my mom died in October and my Dad is 84 so I can't cant leave just yet he is taking it hard (married 54 years) Its funny I fell in love with someone on the other side of the world. But its ok if you ask questions I am happy to answer them. If you need to get away from the snow ask Cassie this is the place to come lol Ok well I will let you know if I get any news about Cassie I pray she doing ok ... Brian

Hi Evelyn. We're ok the floods are a little further down from us. My sister in law had to evacuate but there safe. Not sure how much makes the news there but the flash flood did take a few people very sad. The water here at the moment is unbelievable I am in Queensland and the estimate 70 % of the state (province) has flood over the last month. The water now has headed south to two other state which are evacuating town as I write this. Hard to believe in this day and age but with roads cut we have had food, fuel and other stuff in short supply. The long term effects are going to be great the main areas hit were our veggie crops and the main beef source in the state but its not all gloom and doom the suns shining and its a beautiful day might head out to the beach for a swim with the kids (I have three boys)

Hi I promised her I would post some stuff for her. Cassie gets to borrow the odd persons computer so she can check emails and write. The SC and her clubs are important to her so I told her I would keep it up until she feels up to doing it herself. (She got me hooked on the trivia when she was here with me and I helped her set the SC up). In some ways yes this doesn't happen all the time but she does put on a brave face and she lives with a lot of pain most of the time. I wish I could have kept her here in Australia with me or that I could come there but at the moment it very hard to do that. She was happy here I though and she had a good time but due to problems at home she had to go. Its a very long story and I hope she can tell you her self one day. I really hope she gets a bit better soon. I also hope its OK that I post for her I don't want to get her in to trouble on here. Well its a new year I pray things improve and Cassie can talk to you again soon ... Brian

She seemed so up on the thread in the past I am surprised she is going through all this. She looked fine in her pictures in Australia etc. Is this something that comes on every once in a while? We don't get to talk much she is still in very bad pain and is pretty doped up a lot of the time. I told her you wrote to her she is sorry she can't answer at the moment but when she is able Cassie I am sure she will love to catch up. Hi ecatt44 my name is Brian I am Cassie's Australia friend I some times pop in to give her a hand on here when she gets to unwell. Yes she is not doing to good at the moment is having a very hard time. Cassie at the moment is in a wheel chair and is wait on tests she suffers from a few illnesses (hope I spell that right) Fibromyalgia and Osteoporosis. Its hard to keep in contact with her at the moment I believe they have her in care. So she has limited computer time.
