Hey! i have 2 YOPs, do you have any rice dream fpcs for trade?

To anyone trying to get a hold of me, I am heading up to my parents cottage tomorrow (train leaves at 11 so we will be catching the bus to the station around 9).

We don't return home until August 14th late afternoon. Their cottage is about a 45 minute drive from Kingston and the only internet access we have is when we head into Verona (no cell reception), so I likely won't even be on SC at all until I get home.

I will respond to pm's as soon as I can once we're home and settled again! Thanks everyone - I am so excited to get away for a week and RELAX!!!

My best friend's water just broke!!! I'm going in the delivery room with her and we're leaving for the Hospital now so if you pm me and I don't respond right away, that's where I am!

Just remember that you never truly know what goes on behind other people's closed doors. So while you guys may appear to be the least accomplished (which I'm sure you're not because the best things in life aren't things), you never know what is really going on. I used to think everyone had their S*%t together and why didn't we, until I REALLY started to talk to our friends. Turns out that our friends that are "wealthy and living the high life" are just a whole lot more comfortable with debt than DH and I are.

You guys will get there and when you do it will be AWESOME because you'll really appreciate it.

Morning! Just wanted to say don't get down about owning a home. I know it's easier said than done. DH and I just bought our first house 2 years ago. We were 36 and 38 at the time. We had no one to hell us out either. DH had a ton of student debt when we met and had just finished up another $10K course! We thought we'd never get into a house. We buckled down as much as we could and tried to balance our budget living with a bit of fun here and there, so it wasn't all hard work and no play, and we FINALLY made it into a house. We certainly weren't the first of our friends to buy a house, but we truly appreciate everything we went through now to get here.

Just keep at it, save a little into RRSP's where you can and use that towards your down payment when the time comes.

I promise it will suck at times, but you can get there! Keep your spirits up.

no problem my dear! We were so lucky to have such a wonderful sunny Saturday yesterday, so we did Father's Day, ( ribs/chicken, DH was happy) glad because now it is dreary and raining....again! lol

I had no idea some people lost power yesterday, until I spoke to a guy at work around 4:40 a.m. in the break room, he said he had to dress and get ready by flashlight and candlelight, I was fortunate that our area was not affected. Grimm ( tv) was a good show tonight, I really like that show, just got back on here again.

It is actually here! Friday, and man was Food basic crazy busy as well as No Frills! I could not stand being in either store. On the way home I went to Highland Farms ( I never shop there, it is pricey) but they actually had my salad stuff cheaper than both FB and NF!! lol
Sometimes the detour works out, I had no flyers to check ahead just went there to look! ha ha

I was bursting with giddiness too as I was trying to print a homemade card for her, of course I flipped the paper the wrong way the first try, hope she likes it! You know a while back a member named MrsB07 did a similar thing for me. I did not know her from " Adam", but she read about how I got stiffed 2 times in a gift exchange, and one day I get this box of stuff from her!! She had nothing to do with either exchange, just wanted to cheer me up, man did I feel special and so glad I stayed on sc. Now I Pay It Forward! Enjoy the week.

this turkey is dancing because he knows my secret!! I mailed your parcel yesterday, but sadly it will sit in SDM till Tuesday! ( lol) I hope it arrives Wednesday, they said it should take one day! Let's see if CP is honest!
