Thanks for the birthday wishes -i had a great time at the keg last night with hubby -even got my meal free as the screwed up ,so they made me another plate and i took most home so a nice leftover meal again tonight.

Sorry to read about the new neighbour putting an obstacle on the balcony. Must be their way of making privacy on balcony but coop board or local fire station must enforce the fire safety rules. Hopefully new neighbour is not stacking things on stairwell like old neighbour (who I hope has not been see anymore!).

Good evening, Cath007! I managed an evening walk to mail your coupons and to get to Walmart to replace someone's partially eaten chocolate bar (I had a sugar craving and decided to get one extra bar of something else as well--I ate his party mix snack (half bag) too). I liked today's bright day with cool wind-energy level kept up and I did not nap! Neighbours near us had outdoor party-I could hear music in afternoon and saw many cars at their place.
How is your Sunday? Did something unexpected but happy occur today?

Have some energy that goes rather slowly or quickly depending on lifting or carrying. So glad for cooler weekend and Monday--gives some zip to get things done. When its humid, the idea of even making an effort to go somewhere is not a fun one. Sometimes I like walking at 8pm to store but not the walking back with bags of groceries or noisy cart.

I remain excited by your kitchen plans! Keep up the walks with Dad when you can manage them-so refreshing and there's no snow!

Do you still have a kitty? I don't, she passed away in the winter, and I won't be able to get another - since my husband would have to do all the looking after it, which he had done for years already, but he isn't doing well at times so he just doesn't need the extra burden.

Sadly, my cat died in Jan. - I was so heartbroken, and still miss her very much. Not sure whether to get another or not - of course, I want, but it may just not be practically for us any more with my illnesses and lack of mobility - plus my husband is not in great shape.
I watch dozens of cat videos on YouTube!

If you are anywhere near St Jean Sur Richelieu you should go to this store. the name is Surplus d'Epicerie de Bas Prix and the owner is really nice. He is always giving away free stuff. Or selling it off at a really cheap price. Eggs are always 3 for $5.00. Coffee pods are always 25 cents each or if he wants to get rid of them and get new stock he puts the coffee pods at 10 cents each. I always check their facebook page to see what he has on special sale.
