  1. Thanks for the explanation; not too wordy at all! I've been lurking around this site for a while but haven't signed on until now maybe i can make some kind of contribution and maybe make use of the cashbacks! Happy Holidays and Happy Hunting!
  2. Tell you the truth, I'm not sure reputation does much of anything besides tell others that you are a known and approved of site member. If you see a post or comment you like/agree with, you can let someone know by adding to their rep. Sometimes it's not really worth posting a comment in a regular thred or you might want to use it to say something off topic that you wouldn't want to clog up a thread with (like remaking on someone's cute icon Most times I use the rep button to say thanks or agree with other people's comments. Some people just randomly rep other people's comments. Not too sure why they bother - maybe just looking for rep in return. But hey, there's nothing wrong with building up a good reputation anywhere - and I guess it's kinda nice that everyone can easily see who get alot of peer approval. It does help to discern who makes good posts/comments that are well received and who just posts alot of garbage (those who have a high number of posts but a low rep number). Rep is represented by little green/yellow rectangles and stars and such, just under where it says "Rep Power" in people's information.

Geez, that ended up being really long and wordy, lol.

Btw if you want to rep someone just click on the little justice scales icon. It's under their icon - smooshed between a green or red circle and the red triangle with the exclamation mark.

Lemme know if you find you have questions about anything else on the site - I'll try to answer them as best I can (and hopefully a lot more succinctly than this one, lol)
  3. Thanks! glad you like my chipmunk. I'm new and I don't really know how to use this site; what are reputations for? I just saw it when I signed on.
