I've seen a video where people grow their own potatoes in trash cans. You just need a potato that has sprouted to start. Might be a fun little experiment...?? I grew up with a veggie garden. Once I own my own house, I think I would go crazy with it (will probably hate the work, but it's worth it in the end)

Hi - no the potatoes weren't organic, it was just that nowhere had potatoes for any relatively decent price at all! Little 1.5 lb bags were going for $5! Crazy! Just a bad week, I guess.
However, we wait and hopefully soon a Loblaws store will have 20 lbs again for $6 or $7 like they did last month.
