I think I will have to do the same. i cant stand havig a crock pot sit around doing nothing but simmer chilli a few times a year lol.
Mine is a Rival stoneware crockpot it says.. its pretty big. No idea how many quarts.
Maybe I will put a new crockpot on my list for santa lol

I only use my crock pot for chilli. Its a good name and it wasnt cheap but it never gets hot enough imo to cook a potatoe in 8 hrs????

Did you get to do your recycle walk on Wednesday? How did it go? I completly forgot about our recycling day in Churchill (my fiance does the garbage and I usually don't notice) so I missed it. I may get up the courage next week and see if there is anything good.
