The $15 trim is for the whole head and they just use a spray bottle to wet your hair (shampoo is optional). This walk-in, no appointment salon is very small--other half is shared with a barbershop! But it's a cheap place with good technique!

It is so hard to get Saturday appointments at Chura, seems like you have to call weeks in advance! I just take any stylist I can get! Who is your stylist? Also, Tsubaki Hair Express on Dunsmuir is good for a $15 trim!

Personally, I wouldn't worry about fruits and sugars in them, your brain needs glucose to function properly (I can't remember how much but more than half of your glucose needs are for proper brain function).
